Hi prayer partners,
Here is a little update on the program so far with some prayer requests:
-Today was a team-building and ministry prep day. This evening, students prayerfully identified lies they are believing about themselves and their identity, wrote them on paper, ripped that paper up, and exchanged them for biblical promises. Let’s pray that the truth they received would fall on ‘good soil,’ and that they’d continue believing these truths.
-We celebrate how engaged the group was during the learning tour yesterday, which had students explore first-hand the beauty and brokenness of Winnipeg and its people. My prayer is that the participants would continue in this kind of a learning posture, and keep finding ways of listening to / learning from a wide variety of people groups.
-Tomorrow, students have a day of spiritual formation. We pray that they would be strengthened, encouraged, comforted, and equipped through the prayer and spiritual disciplines that are part of the day.
